World’s First Touch Screen Blackberry
November 14, 2008 by Kirin Knapp

To be released before the Holidays! Blackberry has always been known for being one of, if not the most functional handheld for all of your organizing, texting, talking and business needs. The Blackberry just got better with their first ever touch screen. Its slick, clean design is of course appealing to the eyes and touch, but it doesn’t just stop there. It has similar attributes to the ever-popular iPhone, but it keeps with the traditional functionality of Blackberrys.
You are probably wondering how much this new little gadget is going to be, but it is really better than everyone thought! With a 2 year contract, the phone is $250 with a rebate after purchase–quite a bit more affordable than anticipated. Being a Blackberry, you’re still required to get a certain media package when signing up and activating one, but that is a small price to pay for all the Blackberry can do.
- Here are a few of its features:
- 3.2 Megapixel Camera and Camcorder
- Orientation Sensor – for tilting your phone into landscape mode
- Full HTML Browser
- Social Networking Tools – to stay connected to Facebook and Flickr
- VZ Navigator – for when you need assistance with directions
- Productivity Tools – like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This new and improved Blackberry will surely take the Verizon Wireless network by Storm.
