Universal Remote Control – Bruce Wayne Might Be Able to Afford It

You’ve seen it in the movies, but the tech is here today that enables you to control all of your entertainment media in your house with one device. The MX-6000 touch screen two-way remote has WiFi ability and promises to control the outcome of the sporting events you watch. Turn any PC or iPod into high powered music server as well as being wirelessly wired into your home theater system.

From what I gather this product bridges all of your digital entertainment media to your gear alleviating the need to “point” towards said devices to operate them.

Woohoo.

This little guy is $1,500. For what should be the ultimate universal remote I’m thinking it needs to control the home lighting, security system and cappuccino machine. I understand the new tech is expensive but for that it should be waking me up with Belgian waffles as well as automating my clothes washing process for that asking price.
